It came of a lovely evening in a small independent bookstore, listening to an author read, and a door was ajar, letting a small bit of light pool.
I thought of all the creative spaces I’ve been lucky enough to be part of: aerial arts, glass art, physical performance art, and how much creative work and play is bounced around those walls. How we take it with us when we leave, how it spills out the door, into the streets and into our homes.
How we take it with our hearts.
It is how the light gets in.
